Sam & Max Hit the Road is a graphical point-and-click adventure game developed by Lucasarts. It was originally released for DOS in 1993, then for Macintosh in 1995. It uses the SCUMM engine. It was released simultaneously on floppy disk and CD-ROM, the CD-ROM version containing full voiceovers as well as extra audio tracks.

Plot[]

The game starts Sam & Max, comic book characters created by Steve Purcell. They are "freelance police" who investigate oddball crimes. This game finds the duo travelling across the United States visiting various tourist traps and other strange locations in search of a Bigfoot who disappeared from a carnival.

Gameplay[]

The game uses a simple point-and-click interface to play the game. By right-clicking, the player can scroll through several different control actions.
